It was an mmo, nobody has the time and patience to grind out shit in a genre designed to be exploitative. It didn't help that they had a huge banwave for traders, turned off a big portion of the playerbase.

-MMO? sorry lol no I already got Honkai for that with their animu waifus. If I'm gonna collect the monsters, I want to collect them on my own game file, not some online version that would inevitably get closed.
-monsters. Idk I personally actually like the monsters themselves, they look kinda cool. I like the world artstyle, the way the monsters look, but not the way the monsters look.
-but the people. It seems the developers had a hard time deciding if they wanted to look "anime" or not. It was a weird artstyle compromise for the humans and I wasn't that fond of it. If they wanted to go for a more "western" look, they should have just completely gone through with that. If they wanted to go anime, they should have done that. Basically = no lewdable animu waifus for me.
