I wish they'd flesh Orre out into a full region and set a new main series game there to 1 show they remember it and see those of us who miss it/want more, 2 give newer fans or older ones who skipped the game cube a chance to see it since it's been like 15 years., and 3 give them a different enough region to make it feel like it's not just rehashing the same stuff in different combinations we've always had.
>those routes clearly marked on Colosseum's world map become traversable plus new ones for XD locations, fast travel without wasting a move slot on fly remains for after you've gone there on foot
>after ridding the area of Cipher's influence the land started to heal and wild pokemon returned in droves, including new pokemon so Orre can have a proper regional dex
>add a few more towns and expand the existing locations now that we're on more powerful hardware with more storage space
>add a few dungeons with puzzles and hidden paths for exploration with rewards
>being a rougher region the difficulty is more in line with the existing Orre games despite being a regular main series game
>instead of type themed gyms the colosseums stay tournament challenges but with different rule sets based on strategies - battle formats, item usage, eligible pokemon, ect
>updated mechanics and qol stuff like physical/special split, bottle caps, breeding, ect
>fix up that huge snag machine and use it as a way for trainers to swap their pokemon's balls
>being a region with no champion and a history of plot that isn't just a different flavor of "new trainer takes on gyms, defeats bad guys, and becomes the new champion" they have a reason to break that and do something interesting even if Cipher/shadow pokemon aren't the heart of the story
It could be so good bros...
