That is not a fair comparison to make.
Decidueye gets an archery themed, non-contact projectile physical move but Water doesn't have such an equivalent(in fact, there is not a single physical Water move that doesn't make contact at all)

Moot point anyway, because Samurott is clearly a swordfighter and not an archer. Whether samurai's throughout history mainly used swords or bows doesn't matter, because Samurott uses swords and not bows. Therefore, Samurott should have much higher Attack and be Water/Fighting, with more sword and slashing-based moves. Maybe even a unique ability that boosts the power of slashing moves

I like the idea of it being a water/fighting starter since in gen 3 and 4 both the fire starters had fighting as their secondary typing.
I think it would be nice to have Samurott be water/figthing and have Emboar be fire/dark

The Swords of Justice shoould all have Steel as a secondary type, instead of Fighting, because of their swords and armor

I think the fire/dark typing could fit if you change his moveset a bit, plus it remind me of Ganon from the older Legend of Zelda games when he was a pig monster. Obiously it wasn't the inspiration for Emboar but it's still a good thing to keep in mind.
also every starters sharing the same secondary typing when? Would be neat to have all three starters be figthing types that each represent a different martial art or fighting style (As long as they don't look TOO human of course)

Samurott's armor isn't made of Steel or any kind of metal, so Steel-Type would be much less fitting than Fighting-Type
I understand why they didn't make both Samurott and Emboar Fighting-Type, but the reasoning is still autistic and retarded

The starter with the highest BST is Swampert(535) so Samurott can have 8 points added to Attack and it would only be a slight difference(536)
