Honestly, even knowing their historical development choices (ie ALWAYS including new pokémon in the third version that didn't appear in either base game) and the fact they mentioned the third version was replaced by DLC, it's pretty fucking intuitive they were going to use pokémon that weren't in the base game.
Question is, when DP remakes launch next year, with the missing Sinnoh 'mons and missing a selection of Unova to Galar pokémon, you still going to think you squeakers made a multi-billion dollar franchise change its business decisions? After your crying made the games the highest-selling in 20 years, because yoiu keep advertising them gratis?
