Presentation wise, for the D/P remakes would you prefer a Let's Go style of more intimate detailed and colorful world. Or do you prefer the more large scale yet washed out style of SWSH.

Let's Go's looks 10x better, especially since I know GameFreak won't bother to remake the game in a 3D perspective, but rather still have blocky map design.

I think SWSH is "washed out" because Galar is suposed to be a cold region, so the use of colder colors. Sinnoh also is a cold region, i think it will be like SWSH.

If they refine and put some proper textures, SwSh is pretty nice. It just needs some retouches. If it's going to stay like that I'd prefer Let's Go, is more simple but it's way more charming and colorful.

This. Any remake of a 2d game should be in the Let's Go artstyle to call back to the simpler graphics of the original game. Trying to go for the more realistic color pallet and style won't look as good with the level design of the DS games.

This, SwSh had some okay areas, but they were eclipsed by how fucking awful the unpolished ones (like Wild Area) looked, Isle of Armor was basically what the Wild Area should been, even the "Generic Grassland" area honestly look better, and aside from the forest (that will fucking CHUG if Internet Enabled) i think it runs better too since it is more segmented and probably don't need to load as much shit. It really shows the lessons that were learned from the Wild Area.

I wouldn’t mind the remakes in SWSH style. Gen 8 isn’t perfect but it’s definitely an improvement from 3DS.

The only difference between S/M and SWSH is SWSH upscaling the texture size and resolution for TVs. SWSH is a 3DS game

Yeah and the world felt like carboard. The might as well not have been an overworld at all; it wasn’t avenue for any dynamism or involvement. LGPE seems to be like the opposite but people hated it because kanto shilling

You're out of your mind. Just the character models alone would already make a 3DS melt down due ot how many more polygons and how much more detailed the rigs are in SwSh.

Your average random NPC in SwSh has a more detailed model than anything in SM, same goes for nearly every single Overworld prop and enviroment asset.
