How am I supposed to breed mons and pick up eggs fast here? There's no long straight line, and there's no zone loading so the old man doesn't upgrade his position unless you enter and leave a house.

It's kinda weird they chose Four Island for the Breeding Day-Care, like out of all the islands you choose the one with the least length in either axis. Even Two Island would've been better.

Just bike a square around the pokecenter and step inside every now and then? I mean, yeah it's not as convenient as the autism box in gen 7, but when you go backwards, you should expect some losses of quality of life.

GSC and RS had the daycare beside a long straight road with a loading zone and those games predate FRLG.

FRLG did everything in its power to make it a pain in the ass to deviate from the catch the original 150 pokemon in the wild premise of the gen 1 games.

You couldn't even evolve gen 1 mons to their gen 2 evolves forms until you get the national dex.

Mate, they forbade Golbat from evolving when it reached evolution-level in friendship until you obtained the National 'Dex, not to mention they didn't bother running any events to make the spawns in altering cave change to any of the Johto pokémon that were coded to appear there. They tried their damnedest to make people buy the gamecube games for Johto 'mons, it's not even funny.

You can just get emerald? There is no need for the gamecube games at all the complete the dex. Ho-oh and lugia are NOT needed for the national dex in gen 3 and dppt. Sure having the gamecube games will help especially since no one wants to restart emerald 3 times for the johto starters
