Truthfully. Im started to think the choice for it of not giving it a Mega Evolution was for better. Until now I don´t see a single fan design of an hipotetical mega Flygon that are good looking, all of them are worst and ruin the already perfect deisng of the creature.

because they do dumb shit like change the eyes/ tail. Take the design in OP and keep the original tail. horns and eyes and boom good mega flygon

Make the Mega's mouth larger, and the tail should have the same ending as t3, but it should also have t3's rectangles running along its back. Revert the eye design but give the eye domes an insect-like pattern, but still see-through. Add claws to its feet and add another pair of arms. Make the antennas point forward and be more horn-like. This is a hunter god damn it, with two insect-like stages, it should be scarier in its Mega form.

Alakazam's design isn't as good as Flygon's. In fact, Alakazam's third stage is the ugliest of its original three. It was a good idea to give it a Mega, but then they went and made it the ugliest of its stages.

You can’t give flygon a mega without making it look like a cluttered mess like mega ttar or mega garchomp. I hope they never touch this thing, the design is already perfect.

What if Flygon got four wings again like Vibrava, but stylized in a way that looks like a biting Trapinch when it flaps its wings
Depending on how its stylized, it could look moreso insect-like by having the wings look like feathery moth antennae, or moreso reptilian/dragon-like by having the wings be spiney (like Druddigon)
Any which way, making Flygon more Trapinch-like is a good excuse to give it Arena Trap back lol
