It's likely because they're genuine lunatics with no aim or goal in real life and have no friends or family, they need to keep doing the same unrewarding thing in their life or they'll physically and mentally break down, and they want things to have low quality so it mirrors themselves and their own depressing view of the world while toothlessly screeching at nobodies on an Internet forum for validation.
