i first came into /vp/ 6 years ago because i wanted to talk with people who loved the series as much as i do.
i was there for OR/AS and then S/M hype season, god i remember the board was so cozy and friendly back then.
but the thing is, lately, i feel like this isn't safe for me to be here anymore.
i think it all started in 2018 when they announced the gen 1 remakes. since then everything went downhill. fans who wanted to stay positive were called out. they were assaulted by lots of users here on /vp/.
and then the year after that, there was all the swsh drama. i have whitnessed harassement campaigns led against the developers. i have seen wars between fans who didn't care about the whole dex thing and fans who decided to stay mad forever.
i'm sorry but this board has turned into a literal shithole.
it makes me want to puke because you guys used to be more than that.
so i may as well just leave this shithole once and for all and never come back, i guess.
