An RPG with companions monsters. We've barely seen anything about it but one of the most notable details so far is the mandatory permadeath system. If a team member gets knocked out an in-game timer starts to revive it or you lose it forever, and there's (currently) no way to turn that off.

If you're doing 3D its easier to do round blobs instead of actually drawing something cool. Less dev time, reduces budget cost.

And now only a few hundred people play on average because Crema is lazy and there hasn't been a single content update in six months, even though there are only a mid double digit amount of Temtem, and many that are in the game aren't obtainable.

It was never gonna compete with Pokémon. Temtem is worse than crap like Nexomon.

It's already dead. The developer's incompetence is what killed it. They've added fuck all since launch, and even the future updates are just the rest of the game. They don't know how to make a Poké clone and they clearly don't know how MMOs work.

Oh good they finally added something that should've been ready at launch. But they split it into smaller updates, because they can't even handle an update that only adds a quarter of the content that should've been ready at launch because they're fucking hacks. Still only a couple thousand players averaging and that'll drop as soon as the people finish the new content.

I can't believe people seriously thought it could compete with Pokémon.
