Feels to me like every Pokemon "competitor" tries to out-cutify the franchise, when most people already hate that new designs are too round and vaguely shaped. Even the fakemon I see adhere to the nu-Pokemon design standards. Nobody tries to create cool and dangerous-looking monsters anymore.
