It isn't that fucking hard to justify or implement, just have the Mega-Stone/Z-Crystal prevent that mon from Maxing with some "x's [Item] repels the Dynamax Energy" message, from what i seen Megas were better received then Dyna/Gigantamax and are in general more "popular" then the G-Max forms even now, the chances they gonna come back are higher then anons like to admit.
Yeah, it gonna suck with 3 nuke gimmicks per battle, but they can actually cycle all 3 depending on if they actually give the items associated, even Maxing needs the Wishing Bracelet and that there to be a Power Spot, something they already established is a rarity (/non-existant, but so were supposedly Megas outside Kalos) outside of Galar, So we can get shit like Z-Moves+Max, Mega+Max, Max+New Gimmick, Just Megas, Just Z-Moves, Just Max, Just NEW GIMMICK, Etc.
