1 is a water based shark, sharp and spiky but clearly adept at living in the ocean and hunting in water.
The other, is a land based predator, so focused on land based combat that it literally swims through the earth.
Just because they're both sharks, it doesn't mean they're related. Blastoise and Carracosta are big, bulky water turtles. Does that mean they must be from the same evolutionary line?
What about Cherubi and Sunflora?
Minior and Solrock?
Similar pokemon exist.
