>>44335923I'm just gonna make it two per gen and explain what I want out of some of them
Kanto
>MukFrankly I really want muk just for the animation work that could be done with it. Its body squash, stretch and reform for some really cool looking attacks.
>SnorlaxThis slow motherfucker lugging itself around the battlefield barely managing to throw attacks out but armoring through everything.
Johto
>HeracrossPokémon was founded upon the back of the great beetle, and as such this species should be honored with placement among the fighting game roster.
>HitmontopIt was kind of a tough call between this and Ttar, but Toise ended up weird. At least Snorlax would look funny running around. Top would offer a pretty combo heavy character
Hoenn
>SpindaYeah, Spinda. I want a character who fights like a drunken master.
>DeoxysStance change character. Probably one of the most egregiously missing from the previous game
Sinnoh
>DusknoirTanky character, can set up pain split but it's a highly committal move that leaves it open to attack.
>BuizelGood boxing character. Dips in and out of neutral very fast
Unova
>HydreigonShit boxing character, although it can give you a nasty bite. The frame data there would just suck. Otherwise a heavy zoner.
>ExcadrilDisjointed attacks with claws or when drilling. Install sets up sandstorm and lets it go sonic speed.
Kalos
>HawluchaYeah I know it's basically pointless to ask at this point but where the fuck was this guy?
>TyruntTricky to use due to shit reach. Strong enough to grapple and flip other characters when locked in with bite.
Alola
>Tapu KokoSets up terrain. Area denial/trap character
>Type: NullGimmick is permanent install. It can evolve mid match. More specifically it enters a standard install mode and the super move is to evolve. Meter is obviously slower than basically everyone else'. Evolution is sustained between rounds. Changes its super move if filling meter again.
No room for 8 but Grimmsnarl & Skorch
