Not only is it hard for them to keep their own Hazards up since they lack any reliable way to prevent the opponent from defogging the hazards away, it’s hard for them to prevent the opponent from stacking 3 spikes+Stealth Rock, but the entire concept of Hazards shits all over Stall.
Healing 1/3rd of your health on switches? Well now lower that by a good proportion.
Pokemon is bulky? Well it’s effectively has less total health, being able to take less hits, so use this less bulky Pokemon with Magic Guard.
Switching out a lot since you completely lack any offensive presence? Well take some health along the way that adds up.
There is a reason why Stall teams stacks so many anti-hazard Pokemon and rarely uses Hazard Setters. If they do have hazards, it’s to beat opposing Stall teams.
