The two compliment each other well. The OST and NPC dialogue really sculpt the lively world and tone that really separates it from the generations before, so take it all in. There's a bountiful amount of content and design/aesthetic choices that make it really apparent just how much GF believed in these games. These were the last Pokémon games, after all.

Gen 5 is anything but overrated.
It got allot of shit when it came out and no one cared about the sequels when it released on the end of the DS lifespan

Literally the only things I can praise is BW having good music and the fact they lock you to just Unova pokemon.
BW2 then threw all good will I had by ruining a lot of the good music tracks and beginning the cancerous pandering

my favourite gen anon. Play it easy slow and check everything out. Story is great, ost is great. Downsides are really the cirlce map and evolution requirements of the mons.
