Take any Pokemon, and make a new unique ability for it. Try and pick something that would thematically fit it.

When this Pokemon enters the field, all players' non-Ice Pokemon feel a 'cold chill' . If those Pokemon do not switch out before the end of the next turn, then they are frozen. This ability fails in PvP if all current Pokemon are the last available Pokemon.

In short, think of it as Yawn but with freeze and as an ability.

Regirock's ability fits its lore perfectly, but I think Registeel's good use a bit of tweaking to make it both more unique and balanced.

If this Pokemon is the last healthy Pokemon on your team, it gets +1 Attack, Sp. Attack and Speed when it comes out. This ability fails if it is the only Pokemon on your team.

I mean, Ledian is still going to be hot garbage even with +3 in those stats (or every stat), but at least it's something.

Based on Scizor having rocket booster wings in Pokken, what if it had something like "This Pokémon's Speed increases upon successfully landing a priority move."

I've been memeing with Choice Band Bullet Punch Technician Scizor but I'd definitely be curious how an Ability tied to landing Bullet Punch could work for it, since it's not that fast

While I think Bug does not need anymore nerfs, the fact that actual flycatcher Pokemon are weak to Bug is hilariously bad on GameFreak's part.

Non-contact damaging moves do 0.5x damage. Kinda like Fur Coat but for special attacks.

I think giving Victreebel and Carnivine special interactions with bugs is appropriate, but an immunity doesn't make sense. Maybe for Bellsprout's line, they get an ability to trap bugs, ala Magnet Pull, and Carnivine gets an ability that makes Grass type moves super effective against Bug types while its out in battle.

Confused enemies attack themselves with any attack they have that would be Super Effective. Otherwise, a random move is selected. This effect overwrites traditional Confusion self-inflicted damage.

Pokemon is immune to multi-target wave moves
So earthquake and surf can't touch it, but single-target moves or divided moves like Dragon Darts can.

Confuse Ray.
In my world, Hypno would get a Sleep-inducing effect that causes Confusion when it expires.
In my world though, Pokemon is more akin to Magic where the Pokemon's abilities can be a wall of fucking text with 3-4 effects.

I agre, but it should be much more detailed. For example, Omastar has a shell, and hitting it in the shell shouldn't do nearly as much damage to it as hitting it in the fleshy underside. Also, while Omastar might not be able to swim carrying you, a Pokemon like, say, Blastoise could, and wouldn't need to learn some special technique, either.
