What are dusclops and dusknoir supposed to be?

What is dusclops supposed to be a cyclope mummy?

Not to mention dusknoir that giant mouth on his belly and the thing on his head that looks like a halo of an angel?

Duskull is obviously based on the grim reaper, Dusclops is a mix of a cyclops and a mummy, and Dusknoir is based more on the japanese equivalents of the grim reaper which guide spirits to the next world. Also it has an antenna on its head for whatever reason.

Dusclops is actually based on a Yokai while still having some details of Duskull that connect it with a Shinigami.
In concept Dusknoir is based on psychophonies, but I don't really know we they decided to make it even more fat than Dusclops.

The thing on Dusknoir’s head is an antenna but honestly it’s probably supposed to look like a halo. They’re divine messengers to the spirit realm after all, literally receiving commands from a higher power. An “angel of death” basically.

Some sort of will-o-the-wisp or lantern monster, like a chouchin obake or a jack o' lantern, given how they are hollow except for a single flame/eye.
Also Dusclops being a mummy is cool. It's like a Ghost type take on a cocoon stage like Shelgon.
