Anon, this particular part of the Pokémon internet is nothing but a majority of 20-somethings, hurt, confused and angry their obsession isn't making games with them as the primary audience in mind. They're going to hate anything and anyone not utterly consumed with the impotent rage of growing up and ageing out of Pokémon as they are, who don't subscribe to the "REEEEE, it's all bullshit now, they should be making games for ME WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" and people like Joe still selling the series to people (and those people who still enjoy the series) are going to get hated by default, as the smooth brains behind it think they're the reason Pokémon isn't catering to them, when it's Pokémon intent on remaining a kid-friendly thing which has it that way and as long as they keep seeking this, there's always going to be people ageing out of Pokémon, just like in my day.
