They're made specifically to give underused Pokemon a more fighting chance.
If I wanted to use a Beedrill, I'd put him in my party. I don't need a fucking mega Beedrill to have a stronger Beedrill.

I have Belossom in my X/Y game. I'm fine with winning and losing. I like Belossom. I don't need a mega one.
