All of the broken shit that smogon bans is used most of all by smogon players.
Dracovish, Galarian Darmanitan, Dynamax, Baton Pass, evasion, Swagger, Moody. All of it.

Stealth Rocks debuted in gen 4. And it's been a integral part of the meta for Four generations in a row (gens 4 to 7). Many movesets had Stealth Rocks, and many teams preferred having pokemon that didn't get fucked over hard by pebbles. Competitive players were conditioned to accept hazards as "normal" for four gens straight.

And now the boots shit on all of that. lol

stall is more annoying than ever. chansey is currently sitting at 20% usage, which is double that of gen 7. stall was not hurt as much by the removal of megas and z moves, and now they get chansey, amoonguss, and skarmory back with toxapex, clefable, and hippowdon.

Yes, but clandestine cobblestone has been far more impactful than spikes.
Spikes requires 3 turns to be at full power, can only do a max of 25% damage, and certain mons are immune to it.
Incognito igneous is at full power in 1 turn, can do up to 50% damage to certain mons, and almost nothing was immune to it.
