Rocks are primarily an anti-stall move.
Yes, stall uses them, but it's mostly to combat other stall.
Really, all serious teams should be running Rocks.

I've built a successful team and I don't use rocks. I've peaked at 1300 but I dropped because I kept facing rocks stallers.

1300 is pretty high if you only use honorable strategies. I don't buy into the whole Stealth Rock or contantly switching thing like Smogon does, sue me.

Bait aside, why draco meteor? I thought garchomps ran rock coverage instead of dragon STAB because fairy and steel abundance made it better. What does draco hit that EQ or stone edge doesn't hit harder?

Landorus, also there's a Sword Dance Megarchomp set in the analysis as well, is just that Sword Dance regular Garchomp is better because it can use Z-moves
