It’s because Iron Defense makes its defensive set a Pseudo Garchomp.
Have a little bit less Horse Power and Fire Power for hitting the top 3 defoggers neutrally and making yourself bulkier too.

I like Kommo-O and I have one I carried over from Moon and also I recently caught a Shiny one (I'm willing to trade it if anyone has any good offers, the shiny is a female and I want to use a male one).

Reason I'm posting is, I don't want to use Body Press on mine. How necessary is it exactly? Is it like running Cloyster without Shell Smash or can mine still be alright if I choose to use something like Drain Punch instead?

It's an understandable mistake.
In gen 7, Kommo-o had Clangorous Soulblaze, a Z-move that raises all stats by one stage, but doesn't damage the user.

you can run belly drum with the standard defensive spread, bluffing iappa berry instead of salac.
kommo-o is flexible enough that it can bluff many sets, but it really depends on the meta.
OU always expects defensive and natdex never expects defensive.

Hey I'm still kind of here. I'm at work right now, haven't looked at the thread since last night. If you give me a list of shinies I can tell you which I would be interested in, if any. I'll definitely look at the thread again when I get home in probably 3.5 hours, I don't think it will die by then.

My shiny Kommo-o is female with Overcoat. I think it's 3-4 IV, not that it matters much anymore with hyper training.

Doesn't the clangorous replacement suck dick? Belly drum was almost always preferred instead on sweeper sets, new clangorous is just a niche as an offensive rocker (when kommo was better as a defensive rocker anyway).

I’ve got a male Wooloo with fluffy that’s 2IV (HP and speed), a female Seedot with early bird that’s 1IV (HP), a Dracovich from wonder trade that’s definitely hacked (named pokegen.club) that’s 6IV, a female intimidate Gyarados that’s 4IV (HP, speed, defense, special attack), and a male scrappy Sirfetch’d that’s 6IV (but this one I got from a raid so it’s not hacked).

I really need to organize these boxes better.
