They could do something like Mystery dungeon where you can say no to questions but NPCs will convince (aka force) you to say yes. The problem with dialogue options like this is that it has to be written to not affect the story. If you were consistently rude to an NPC and they still act like you're best friends, it wouldn't make sense.

Dialogue choices and actions also really should have actual consequence and weight
