Animal Crossing New Horizons ($60) got its 4th free DLC content expansion today.
Hollow Knight (a game made by like two? people) provided four free DLC expansions for their $15 game. Nintendo can't really make 2D Metroids anymore after Hollow Knight beat them the fuck out of the genre they established.
$60 Sword and Shield uses the models from 2013's X & Y, removed hundreds of Pokémon, and charged another $30 for DLC that gifts you 'legendaries' and brings some deleted Pokémon back. Can anyone speculate as to why the highest-grossing franchise of all time decided not to invest in their main series games? They certainly have the fuckin' money.
