Help! Trying to beat the Factory once again and I’m on the last tier. If I use explosion does the win go to me or the opponent? We’re both on our last mons

Level 50 in the Factory results in a lot less RNG madness in the higher rounds, the highest tier rentals are the same as those found in the mid tiers of Open Level so there's less evasion spam.
Plus the Open Level challenge becomes much tougher if you're unable to properly sweep a team whereas the Level 50 is a bit slower paced.

Reminder that, if you’ve never touched Tower, enemy IVs will always be shit, so you should never trade outside of around 1 if you just missed a cycle.
If you’ve streaked in Tower then you can swap fine.

I thought the idea was to swap after each battle so that you'd be given a couple of Pokemon from the next set up when you start a subsequent set (ie, swapping every round gets you a few round4 Pokemon to begin round 3).

I'm not OP but that's a good idea. I usually use that big Smogon guide to help me determine swaps, but it assumes max IVs so it's useless for someone who hasn't touched the Battle Tower, outside of movesets.

OP here, decided to switch out Gengar for Dragonite since he's squishy and I like Tyranitars Sand Stream since it doesn't damage Metagross
now on the 4th opponent, I'm so close to the Factory Brain

Fuck...I got to round 5, Metagross get's parahaxxed and dies to Vaporeon.after defeating a Nidoqueen
Vaporeon crit icebeam kills my Dragonite.
My Tyranitar takes out the Vaporeon but then fucking Registeel shows up out of nowhere and Superpowers Tyranitar to death since it's 4x effective.
had i gone with Gengar maybe I would've lucked out but oh well. Still a fun run, haven't been this excited about Pokemon for a while

appreciate all the advice will probably try level 50 next time.

I got all the silver symbols, but i'm struggling to get the golds. I can't get past the 56 trainers on the Tower

I've been doing it, it's not even that bad. You don't need full perfect IV's to clear the frontier, getting proper nature + 31 IV in 2 important stats only takes an hour or two.

I find it easy to use battle videos to save your frame and just catch two 2/3 IV wild then breed them for a 5IV and just leave the attack you don't need
