VGC bros, what's the recipe to safley waste my opponent's dynamx turns? Snarl/Intimidate helps cut the power of my opponent but feels insufficient to every strat.

singles stuff like fly / phantom force can be cool. Your own dynamax +msx guard.

If I was KO'd by a dmax user I would sometimes bring in a focus sash lucario and just hit counter to 1hit ko them.

Other than that, just make big brain hard switches, or moves like ally switch / follow me.

Also if in singles and you are faster substitue spam has saved me once.

You basically can't outside of extreme cheese.
Gamefreak kinda designed Dynamax to be as hard to waste as possible because people would naturally be butthurt by getting their limited resource wasted.

Its tense, but Showdown straight up coddles you with its speed, stat/mod labels, and allowing you to reselect things. Def a big thing to get used to if you're not used to cart play.

Amoongus has four move slot syndrome. You already have to run Spore, Rage Powder, and Protect. It's hard to justify that last slot on Clear Smog when things like Pollen Puff exist.
