I guess there was something endearing for me about a cute girl studying pokemon who helps introduce the protagonist to the world and run into a lot during your adventures, helping each other out
she became my waifu back when I was playing the game for the first time, I admit she wasn't my first fictional crush since I wasn't that young back then but I have never loved another character this much and probably never will
