>>44407467Loose Concept kind of hard to explain but think: Zords.
Piggybacking off of this anons
>>44407467 idea. What if we take the idea of a megazord/mech and apply it to a battle mechanic. It's kind of a "all for one" type of thing. Where you can allow your entire team make a zord out their energy. It depends on the make up of your team, if you have a certain team you get a certain mech/giant design. If your team is entirely of a certain type you can get a mech/energy construct design based on that type. If it's a fully diverse team you can get a rainbow energy mech.
Which would be treated as the generic mech. If you have a team of shillmons you get an uber power energy mech.
If you have half and half type teams you get fusion energy mechs that are dual type.
This zord essentially becomes the mon you fight with, if it faints it means your entire team faints aswell. It can use 1 move from all Pokemon involved. And the attacks are randomized. Or instead of waiting until the whole thing faints via health bar, if the mech is hit with a move that's super effective against one of the Pokemon thst makes it up it looses that part. For example if you have a Pinsir that's part of it, and you get hit by a Fire type move the Pinsir doesn't faint but it effectively retreats.
As far as stats go, maybe takes the highest stats from each mon that makes it up. Of course making a energy mech out of with mons of high stats, is banned in competitive play.
