I read the manga and watched the anime before playing the games, and that shit was a major disappointment overall. Other games like BoF and Arc the Lad captured the feeling of the manga more so.

Instead of this dull as fuck "interactive" and "customizable" '"adventure". Why not have a cool story with huge events?
Why not have stuff so cool in game it outdoes the playground rumors.

Shit is a huge disappointment overall.
These games are all crappy.

It was fine for a first game on a limited console.
But that shit should have been done away with.

It's the same fucking battle system with a few "patches" every year for the last 20 fucking years. MIX IT UP. WE WANT NEW SHIT.
We want an adventure, not this dull shit.

I don't want to picture myself in that world, I want to hear a good story! We should have got that on the GBA, but we didn't. That was the point of no return, and proof how shit gamefreak is; if that was anyone else, all of the reviewers would be going apeshit on them.

I always loved the designs, but sadly we will never get to play thorugh something like pic related.
