Man what happened to just have normal adult Gym Leaders, Gen VI onwards has shifted more and more to the extremes, the only Galar Gym Leader who's just a regular adult is Melony everyone else is either a child, teenager or elderly.

I hate Hop, Gordie, Allister and Avery. I'm gonna be more pissed if Wyndon does not have a block option for rematches, meaning I want certain trainers to be banned from challenging me. Why should gym leaders revert back to being just normal adults? Also, most pokemon characters are of an ambiguous age, so Piers, Raihan, Gordie, and Milo could be young adults.

It's pretty funny that Johto in spite of being the "Old Traditional" Region actually has loads of kids/teens, i mean if i got shit right from how i saw people talk about them and the art, i think it is like Pryce and Chuck that are over "Early twenties" there.

I was surprised how "Young and Hip" Morty seemed to be due his design and actual theming of his Type and Gym back in the day.

What is normal?

To be fair he trial captains of gen 7 had to give up their titles at age 20, which is why they are all children or teens. I kind of liked that though, it's more realistic that a kid could beat another kid at a Pokemon battle than a seasoned veteran like Kabu or Blaine.
