>>44409595>this isn’t even the only enemy in the game to have visible blood stainsHoly shit bro, if you seriously think some goofy cartoon snake with some red on its fangs is at all comparable to shit like Hikawa's death and the impact that has on Flint, then you're even more dishonest than I thought.
>yeah man i guess the villain from the last game being so scorned from his loss against ninten and the memory of his mother that he destroys his mind and form to attain ultimate power and wipe out humanity and maybe time itself while spouting off lines form a traumatic experience the creator had as a child when he misconstrued a scene in a movie he accidentally walked in on to be rape is just completely sunshine and rainbows compared “man who loses his wife acts out of line.”Holy fucking shit, and you're accusing me of not playing the games? Are you really this tone deaf? I'm genuinely beginning to believe you have severe autism because you're taking two things entirely out of context without examining the emotional impact this has on the player. It's like saying Plants vs Zombies is darker than Heavy Rain because duuude a game about zombies and the dead and edgy plants is darker than a game where some guy loses his son.
It's so genuinely baffling you can't understand basic premise and context that it seems like you've never actually played EB, only watched some shitty lorefag video.
Giygas's breakdown isn't nearly given the same amount of weight and raw emotion that Flint having his tantrum is supposed to deliver to the player, or that Claus's suicide is supposed to impact the player, none of it is even spelled out, the player doesn't actually know about the rape scene. But it's still surrounded with stuff like Porky calling him an almighty idiot and you eventually save the world on a happy note. Claus and Flint and the apocalypse is played 100% seriously only to maximize the edge and you are given every detail you need to feel as awful as possible.
