I found it incredibly boring and to this day it’s the only Pokemon game where I didn’t even bother finishing the post-game. I just did the BF in HGSS instead.

Pokemon platinum is that one pokemon game that is mediocre on paper but I always end up enjoying it the most.

The difference are fairly important, the whole feel of the game is just much better. The biggest improvement I find is the pokedex and the battles
