I'm still mad. I lose my Shield cartridge in a washing machine and i don't care. This is the worst piece of entertainment ever made, a big steaming pile of crap.

Will Pokemon ever be good again? Why X & Y is the last one that feel a little bit like a Pokemon game?

I am a boomer who has been around the pokemon community for years

every single game is considered shit by people like you when they come out, and then years later people have nostalgia for it and it's considered good again

everyone thought Gen 5 was shit, they thought Gen 6 was shit, and they thought Gen 7 was shit. It took years for people to come around on Gen 5, people still don't like Gen 6, and it's too soon for it to be trendy to love Gen 7

SwSh aren't amazing but they're basically on the level of Sun/Moon with new QoL shit and better online play. Everyone just wants to be a kid again. Go play rom hacks or something if you want old but new.

A lot of people like Gen VII, at very least over Gen VI. Gen V was disliked when it was new because people were upset about Black and White not letting you use old Pokemon until the postgame, but those games had a lot going for them that modern ones don't.
