I usually don't like 3d cgi anime, but this miniseries was passable for what it was.
I just wish the episodes covered characters I actually gave a shit about. The Bea and Nessa and Oleana episodes were fine (gave me a glimpse into their everyday lives), but the rest weren't.
Allister's episode should have been about his backstory and not about those hospital boys. Better yet, the first episode shouldn't have introduced the hospital boys at all. First episode could have been a Marnie episode instead. As for Hop's episode, all it did was make me care about his Wooloo. Not for Hop himself, who I still think is an annoying jobber.
I hope the final episode ends off strong, but I doubt it. It'll just focus on those hospital boys again as they go to meet Leon.
