>>44427276Megas can probably stay gone. It was a good idea, but they fucked it up entirely. What mega forms SHOULD do is only be given to underpowered shitmons, and Pokemon who are popular for non-game reasons, but stink in-game.
Then they could've banked on the "sure this Pokemon stinks, but they love you so much that they'll take it to the next level!!!" angle, and NOT give it to Metagross or any of the starters.
I would've said prior to release that Gmax could've been used in this way, as a way to buff popular shitmons, but no, that ended up being a bust too. Now I'm sitting here, seething that I'm sitting out an entire gen of Pokemon for the first time since the franchise started. Bah humbug.
