Cyrus's whole deal is creating a world where time and space can expand unrestricted by "spirit", though the games never really makes it clear what "spirit" is. Apparently the lake trio produces it, and bound Dialga and Palkia from constantly expanding space and time. I guess that since the lake trio is comprised of beings of knowledge, emotion, and willpower, "spirit" must be the product of those things? But what does that even mean? Cyrus seems to believe he will be able to be aware of his perfect world, but awareness comes from spirit according to the hiker who tells you about Arceus if you catch it. So how would that even be? Plus, in the Rainbow Rocket stuff, he seems to basically be the same as how he is in Platinum even if he won in the parallel universe he gets pulled in from. So what is "spirit", and what would a world without it look like?
