Dark is kind of bad, especially since Luxray can't use Knock Off, the main reason to want to use an offensively oriented Dark type. It would still be shit in doubles, it would still be horribly outclassed in singles (Obstagoon would still be a vastly better Guts user). I think it would actually make Luxray weaker since it becomes weak to Close Combat now. Please explain what "niche" Luxray would by being part dark?
This is jsut like the retards thinkin g Flygon would suddenly gain a "niche" if it was Bug/Dragon simply for being the only Bug/Dragon. It doesn't work like that. Solrock and Lunatone are the only Rock/Psychics out there, they're both really weak, and neither of them have a "niche" simply for having a unique typing. They're still woefully outclassed by everything else and no one uses them.
