I'd go as far as to say USUM is an S tier game along with the other big names like Emerald and Platinum.
I don't get it when people say 6 is better than 7. 6 is just mediocre all across the board.

I like USUM and SM more than most people, but in hind sight, I don't think the games are worthy of S tier. The have good story mode battles like the totems and jellyfish lusamine, but that's really the only aspect about them that's innovative

6 had better online, more and better dungeons/caves, a better dex, a better gimmick, better pacing, less dialogue, less interruptions, less cutscenes, better character customization, better bottom screen features, better route and region design, and at the very least had the excuse of being the first 3D main series title to account for its weaknesses.

imo LGPE doesn’t even belong to a generation. It can’t directly connect to any other main series game, gen 7 or 8. It’s still technically main series, but it just doesn’t fit into a generation at all.
