Hello, I am a chinese translator for Game Freak. China was already chosen for generation 9 back in generation 8. The new Pokémon region will be based in Taiwan, as that is where the development team could go to get ideas for the game. The game will be on the Nintendo Switch.
The game will feature:
>High quality animation, however the Pokémon will use the old models from XY. The Pokémon are true to size as well in battle. However, the world is very detailed.
>Dynamax will not return, but Mega evolution will. There will be more about mega evolution used in the history of the game.
>The new gimmick of the games will be “combo moves” like the anime. Basically doubles will be more important like in RSE, and they will be more anime-styled.
>the plot will be set on an empirical regime and guides the player on dismounting the regime, much like actual China.
>The game’s starter Pokémon will be a fire Snake, a grass ram, and a water bear with a monk theme.
>The game will be open world, and other regions will be available for purchase.
