Nah, I haven't popped in SwSh in months. Had a pair of Nintendo Shop gift cards that I got for Xmas and my birthday and was convinced I would use them on the SwSh expansion pass. I ended up using them on the FE3H DLC because I think I'm done with the current SwSh online scene.

Raid exploiters would have moved directly onto the promo raids, likely to share A-chu with the world.
I'm just going to SOS a Pichu/Pikachu in US and evolve it there, mainly as I can't be fucked with grinding online raids for one, I've a larvesta to keep looking for.

Dont worry. Hacked move sets are making a slow come back and I doubt these retards will prepare for tundra so if anything once that drops you'll see the birds and other legends given out like candy. The only thing that may not come back is 999 items since that's the reason it got banned and I doubt hackers would risk it again, either that or making only some items 999 but not important ones like game or story breaking.

in terms of looking through online raids:
look for trends and things that are rare or atypical from the trends you may see
gold raids have a good chance and so do 1 star or 2 star ones often
if the host takes a while to confirm even after everyone's already joined it's usually a pretty good sign that it's shiny

I used mostly Grimmsnarl with leech life but it still gets iffy often
I haven't tried it but I feel like something like Galvantula or Escavalier might not do too badly
