In general you really don't want to use the e4 for grinding unless you're playing on emulator, the hall of fame/credits sequences are too painfully long

Chansey on Isle of Armor is still slower than using exp candies.
Chansey raids are also much rarer than something easy like ditto.

Best thing to do in XY is play a rotation battle in one of the restaurants in Lumiose. That way you can have two mons gain in battle experience while you knock things out with the first, even greater since you can give them Lucky Eggs.
