I don't really know how to prove that I've played the others. People can look stuff up about the games and write that, so there's nothing I could put that would prove I played them,

FireRed and LeafGreen are my favourite games though.

I'm 100% a zoomer, looking at a 2000 kid here, but I played the red, yellow, gold, and crystal VC versions and loved them. I also played sapphire and firered after coming across them in a flea market in like 2007 immediately after playing diamond, so if those count as old then I suppose I did play the old games

half-tempted to buy CIB copies of the gen I + II stuff and shell swap them so they're all aussie copies, bought them when I was more concerned with actually having the carts than whether they were from burgerland or not
little bit sad that the pre-gen 4 stuff isn't the copies I first played apart from emerald or ruby, used to play on my brother's old carts as a little toddler and they were stolen from him when he was like 18 or so (decade older than me + he moved out at a young age)
I miss being a kid and actually able to look at this stuff in shops, man

Nice, I use those apps too but in my city it seems like retro games have gotten a huge boost in sales recently. Everyone wants to buy retro carts now. It wasn't like this in the spring. I can only imagine that demand for retro it will only increase in winter.

I've completed my gen 1 and gen 2 collection a few times over and now I'm selling the extra copies I've got. Hopefully this shit sells and I can buy a switch and play BotW
