It's an amazing support pokémon, 105 speed with that bulk makes me hope GF suddenly doesn't decide that mythicals are allowed in VGC. Specially since it seems to be designed for doubles.

Having a useless ability and some missing moves are the only downside of Zarude.
It has one of the best stat distributions in OU, a great offensive typing, and an excellent speed tier.
It won’t be OU because of Rillaboom, but it will be UUBL probably.

I wonder why they 'balance' mythicals so much, Zarude has good stats but lacks a good ability and key moves like Sucker Punch, Knock Off, EQ, or the elemental punches.
Like, is not even legal on VGC why not just give them retarded stats and moves and make them comparable to cover legendaries?

The fact that both are grass monkeys that debuted in the same gen makes it hilarious to me that Zarude is competing with Rillaboom for the same niche.
