>>44464590>the set was still all about using thunder wave and trying to catch the opposite blissey with ExplosionSo it wasn't defensive, it was trying to kill Pokemon, it was offensive, like the set name blatantly says, counter to what you're saying.
>The only reason stall was weak on gen 3 is the lack of support movesSo first you're saying the too few walls were too effective, now you're saying stall sucked. Which is it? The split didn't help the mass amount of stall present from Gen 4-8, if anything, it made it worse.
>>44464591aight nigga
>>44464635>Better than beforeEntei was fucking UU pre-split. You think dropping down to NUBL is an 'improvement'?
>Holy Fire doesn't even fucking exist,Shooting out a blast of fire definitely seems like it requires physical strength, yeah.
>The other point is their stats are PHYSICALLY ORIENTED so they need PHYSICAL STAB and viable move-setsWhich is why Sceptile is special and Leaf Blade is physical, right?
>Yes, there are winners and losers as in everything. Move onAnd there were significantly more 'winners' pre-split, many mons were significantly more viable than they were post-split, and people were capable of coming up with ingenious and creative strategies to overcome weakness instead of brainlessly slapping on some STAB and calling it a day. Mons could be special, mixed, physical, semi-stall, nowadays they're all built for one or two roles, because zoomers are boring people and like to make other things boring like them.
>>44464652I'm moreso referring to in-game (it's not like Smogon enforced rules or movesets anything back then, either). If you can't make a moveset without daddy Smogon handing you your stall set, you need to grow up
>>44464666>w-well if the opposite happened you'd like that too!No, because discussing a hypothetical is pointless. I don't know how I'd feel at all about that, stop making things up.
>>44464681>True but weavile isn't sneaselIt's literally it's evo.
