Never used Claydol, might try him out in a future run. This was also my first time using Wailord, Banette, Salamence, and Magneton (strangely enough, usually just opt for manectric in this gen).

Very cool team brother, may I ask who your starter was and when you switched them out? I've only benched mine a few times before in gens I dislike the starters but gen 3 has probably my favorite selection. Also curious about your shiftrys moveset

I only got torchic to 8, my team was lombre and vigoroth until I caught Seedot on route 117 and then used the daycare to grind it to learning Synthesis before evolving it, then grinded Nuzleaf to learn Faint Attack so I could actually beat Watson, and then I evolved Nuzleaf at 49 to have Extrasensory. Full moveset was Faint Attack, Giga Drain, Extrasensory and Synthesis.

I almost always add a breloom or Ludicolo/ Shiftry
I also almost always use one of the fossils.
My planned team for my upcoming playthrough is Swampert, Breloom, Camerupt, Armaldo, Kecleon, and Dusclops. Sucks that I'm gonna be stuck with only 2 pokemon for so long tho, I was thinking about swapping out Armaldo for Aggron because of it.
