Honestly I like a lot of the gigantamaxes. Grimmsnarl, sandaconda, orbeetle, gengar, blastoise, snorlax, kingler, corviknight, and centiskorch are all great. I'm not a big fan of the rest though.

Not your fault, it's possibly the rarest G-max in the base game. Only found in one small area that you can't reach until late game. Similar to Charizard, but them give you a Charmander gift.

I just fucking hate its a gimmick. I already have a kingler and I wanna train a Gmax, but I know within one gen they're gonna take this shit away and I'll have a Kingler I trained for nothing.

actually its one of the earliest catchable gmaxes because there is a den on land and it has a chance to spawn on 2 star raids not just 5 stars like many other gmaxes

There are so many cool crabs, and I'm pissed some kickass spider crab got wasted on a form that is doomed to stop existing this very gen, is hard to get, and is probably worse than the dynamax form.

It's based on Poseidon/Neptune and the fact that crabs cover their face with bubbles to scare off rivals. It's one of the only bearded Pokemon that makes sense from both a thematic and biologic sense.

Gmax has a clear theam of "what if pokemon, but huge". Megas just go with much less sprcific "it gets stronger" which leads to some nice designs, but also a lot of nonsens

I also like this design and I even have a gigantamax capable Kingler, but kingleris so bad that isn't even a point of using it.
Kingler needed a mega not a gigantamax form, or at least be able to learn some random flying move to make the gigantamax form actually useful.
