So..Red Thread? Never liked the FRLG design desu, even on the modern artstyle gen1 Red looks better.

I personally think that Gold, Brendan and the BW2 guy look pretty cool, but i feel GF is getting less creative with their male designs, SuMo male protag looks way too fucking generic, has nothing going for him, like a worse Red almost

FRLG redesign is an ok design but nothing beats the original Red for me. Not really sure why Blue got to keep looking like Gary but Red had to be redesigned to no longer look like Ash.

Agreed. FRlG red looks autistic and it doesn't translate well in 3D just look at smash. With that said your pic is probably the best looking Red has ever looked

Ok don't get me wrong here Hilbert is a fine design, but something about him just doesn't feel right to me, it's a similar case with SuMo guy, but to a much lesser extent, fucking hate SuMo guy

I like Hilbert, his design is simple and it works. Both Hilbert and Hilda are still two of my favourite trainer designs of all times. I'm really not a fan of Nate and Rosa's (the BW2 player character)'s sporty visor look.
