Ghost is kinda like dragon, where as the type became more common it has gradually moved away from just physically ghostly or draconic entities to become a kind of elemental aspect as well, allowing for stuff like Decidueye and Alolan Exeggutor. I'm fine with it because it allows for the types to have more varied designs. I mean, do you really want every single ghost type to be a purple/black blob? Doesn't that get a little boring?
