Tyranitar only has an effective BST of 661 if you don't invest in SpDef, and investing in SpDef is a waste because it has the equivalent of 159 base SpDef without investment and that's good enough for most purposes.

The difference between the plethora of mons that got CC or Body Press fighting TTar and Chansey/Blissey comes from the simple fact that
1)TTar can't make a dent on those mons because it's either too slow and gets slapped back or didn't break a wall and got broken by Body Press
2)Chansey/Blissey just lands a toxic on them and begin stalling. Blissey is the one that frequently runs Teleport more than Chansey though, but still
